The Mini-DIPS-OA is a short structured clinical interview for diagnosing mental disorders and is based on the DIPS-OA. The Mini-DIPS-OA is an abridged and reformatted version of the DIPS-OA allowing a fast yet reliable diagnosis. It is applicable for adults and assesses lifetime diagnoses, current and past, according to DSM-5 and ICD-10. The Mini-DIPS-OA covers the mental disorders most commonly seen in clinical settings:

• Anxiety Disorders
• Bipolar and Related Disorders
• Depressive Disorders
• Obsessive-Compulsive and Related Disorders
• Trauma and Stress Related Disorders
• Somatic Stress and Related Disorders
• Eating Disorders
• Sleep-Wake Disorders
• Disorders related to Psychotropic Substances and Dependent Behaviors
• Attention-Deficit / Hyperactivity Disorder
• Screening for psychosis, sexual dysfunction, impulsivity, and suicidal behavior

In addition, general demographic information and additional clinically relevant information are collected.

For the complete listing of disorders covered in the DIPS please see  >>List<<

Administration of the Mini-DIPS-OA requires a sufficient level of knowledge of DSM-5 and/or ICD-10 classification and diagnostic criteria, and and its application needs clinical experience and systematic training in its implementation. Training in the implementation of the DIPS-OA is also desirable.
